Vacancy for a Storeman position
Requirements for this role:
- Grade 12 or Matric
- Driver’s license is required for this role
- Computer literate especially Microsoft office ( Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel )
- Must have at least two years of experience working at a store of any kind
- Honest, reliable and hardworking candidate is required for this role
- Team player as this role requires a candidate who will be willing to engage with everyone in order to for the job to be completed
- Be able to follow instructions that are given at all the time
- Excellent problem solver and the candidate must pay attention to all the details even small details
- Capacity to work independently and as well as in a teams setting
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends.
- Have no criminal record.
- Be able to read and write in order to complete the tasks that will be given by superiors
Responsibilities for this role:
- Hold Responsibility for all tools and stock in the stores.
- Responsible for keeping the stores neat and organized.
- Be responsible for receiving and checking invoices and parts against orders.
- Ensuring collection of parts and the documents reflects the same.
- Make sure that collection of stock quantities remains at an acceptable level.
- Any stock and or parts removed from the stores are accounted for and accompanied by accurate capturing of job cuts.
- Ensuring that booked out equipment/tools/parts/stock are returned after finalized tasks.
